This Grow cuff bracelet has a botanical theme with a stamped leafy button and features a hammered texture on the cuff. Great for pairing with your other bracelets! Kristin Buhler Design is pleased to offer you treasures to be worn and enjoyed forever.
A stamped ingot of recycled silver sits perched atop a double cuff of hammered silver. What's a recycled ingot, you may ask? It's silver rescued from my scrap heap, which I melt down into a molten drop—an ingot. Then I hammer the ingot into a disc. After it's flat-ish, I stamp it with the Grow motif. Such a great way to use up my scrap silver.
After giving this cuff a light polish with steel wool, most of the rainbow patina remains. As you wear the cuff it will polish the high spots, revealing all the textures. I sort of like the natural evolution of silver...
*Tip to putting on a cuff bracelet*
Running up the length of your arm, on the inside in the middle, are tendons. There is a bit of a hollow spot on either side of these tendons at the wrist. Press one end of the cuff bracelet into the hollow spot that is closest to your thumb, and then roll the other end of the cuff bracelet over the top of your wrist, away from your body. To remove the cuff bracelet, simply reverse the action. You should only ever need to adjust the opening to your cuff bracelet once, when you first try it on. Opening and closing the cuff bracelet when you put it on or take it off could result in a weakening of solder joins, potentially breaking the cuff bracelet.
Approximate dimensions: 65mm wide, and 53mm tall. The opening is 25mm [1"]. This cuff bracelet is slightly adjustable, and best suited to be worn by a medium to large wrist.
