RETURNS/REFUNDS

The jewellery I make has been made with precision and intention, but it isn’t perfect. The tools that assist me in creating my jewellery leave their mark—a quality I find endearing. Read dimensions and descriptions carefully to ensure the product works for you. Dimensions are accurate to the best of my abilities, however approximate, and may vary slightly from the actual piece you receive.

I spend a lot of time making and ensuring every piece of jewellery that leaves my shop is in perfect working and wearing condition. The materials—the stones and silver—I work with are top quality, and that doesn't come cheap. I value my time and skill, as well as the materials, and the sum of the parts is reflected in the price I charge. Be sure of what you are purchasing before you complete the checkout process—please don't jerk me around with your buyers remorse.

My jewellery is made with the utmost care. That said, sometimes I make mistakes. Returns on items due to defects in my workmanship will be given at my discretion. Returns of defective pieces can be made for store credit of the same amount of original purchase price. You must notify me within 14 days of receiving your package that you wish to return your jewellery. Shipping is non-refundable, and return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If you paid via PayPal, your store credit will be less my fees to PayPal [see PayPal Payments, at the bottom of Policies].

I do not offer returns or refunds on made-to-order items, personalized, and/or custom orders. I will do my very best to make sure you are getting the exact custom design you want—please be sure of what YOU want during the creation process.

Please be sure of your correct ring size. If you need assistance in figuring out correct ring size, either visit a jewellery store or purchase a ring sizer [found in my shop, search "ring sizer"]. The purchase price of the ring sizer—$5—can be put towards a custom designed ring. The purchase price of the ring sizer may not be put towards read-to-ship or made-to-order rings [such as stacking rings].

Digital downloads and sale items are final sale. No returns, refunds or exchanges will be offered.

Kristin Buhler Design is happy to ship to you, wherever you are in the world! Shipping is calculated based on the desired level of service, the weight of your purchase as well as your destination. Should you wish an estimate prior to making your purchase, please ask.

PHOTOS
I do my best to represent each item accurately in the photos, as well as in the listing description. Colors vary from monitor to monitor setting. Sometimes photos can't answer all questions you may have about a particular item. Please do not hesitate to ask for additional photos [or video!] if you are uncertain about anything at all.

Because I use natural materials in my handmade jewellery, sometimes colour, pattern, shape and texture etc. may vary from piece to piece, even within a piece. If your item is made-to-order, please expect some differences and variation from the photos in the listing. .

The more questions you ask, the more information I can provide to you to ensure your 100% satisfaction on your order.

DEPOSITS ON PAYMENT PLANS
I accept payments on large purchases for serious buyers only. Payment plans may not exceed 4 weeks. 



I require a 30% deposit to start a payment plan and to hold the item.

For whatever reason, if you cannot follow through with the payments, you have forfeited the deposit on the item. YOUR DEPOSIT WILL NOT BE RETURNED TO YOU. 



A payment is a promise that you are serious with following through with the purchase of an item. If you cannot follow through with payments, your deposit will not be refunded, as the opportunity for the item to have been sold to another serious buyer was diminished by the item being delisted from sale for several weeks throughout a payment plan schedule.

PAYMENT PLAN TERMS
Payment plans on newly listed items under $200, the first 48 hours is first come first serve. After 48 hours lapses if the item is still available, payment plans will be accepted. For items over $200, that time period is 24 hours. 



A deposit is required to hold the piece initially. Once the deposit is made, the remaining balance will be split into two payments. 



Deposit—30% + Payment 1—35% + Payment 2—35%= total [not including shipping]



Payment 1 is due 14 days after the deposit. Payment 2 is due 14 days after Payment 1.

PAYPAL PAYMENTS
According to PayPal I can issue a refund within 180 days of receiving a payment. If I refund a payment for goods or services, there are no fees to issue the refund, but the fees I originally paid to PayPal as the seller—a percentage of your purchase—are not returned to me. The amount of the refunded payment will be deducted from my PayPal account. What this means to me, as a seller, is that should you request a full refund, I will pay to PayPal the fees associated with your purchase PLUS your full refund. I am a small business. Because of these changes, I will no longer be issuing FULL refunds—your refund will be less the fees PayPal takes from me. Consider this a restocking fee.
