I'm happy to be combining my love of silversmithing with something new—leather! This new iteration of my Grow collection is the physical manifestation of time plus experience. Well, that was a mouthful! The original Grow collection was simple stamped jewellery—earrings and necklaces, still available in my shop!—featuring various leafy stamps. Over time I learned new things and put them into practice. The original simple, botanical vibe is still present, but with an updated twist.

This simple dark brown bag has been hand stitched with white waxed thread. The slim interior pocket [8" x 8"] has been stitched with dark brown waxed thread. The natural edge flap has been embellished by a sterling silver swag of hand formed leaves which has been hand stitched onto the flap in dark brown waxed thread. Nestled in the swag is a lovely Hubei turquoise. The adjustable strap attaches to the bag via heavy swivel clasps and d-rings. A large flap, which has been sewed on with two rows of saddle stitching for added security, holds the bag closed. I've kept the raw edge of the hide on the flap because I find that part of the hide so interesting. My [former] makers mark is stitched to the front of the bag, a sterling silver tag stamped with a “j”, for Jolie .
